So, I've always wanted to buy Burnout: Paradise for the 360, and now that they offer it as a full download, I got excited and looked at it on my system before deciding whether I wanted to purchase it or not.
The Xbox "feature" list, or whatever you may call it (The one that says the likes of "1-4 player online co-op", and "1 player offline" etc.) listed "1-2 player co-op" in the green offline features list, and listed "1-4 player co-op" in the orange xbox live features list.
I download and buy the game, excited to finally be able to play a splitscreen racing game with my friend for the first time since the Nintendo 64, but when it finishes downloading, we realize that there is no such offline multiplayer feature! I then google'd it in disbelief, and found others disappointed over the lack of splitscreen.
My main concern is, unless I have somehow been misinterpreting that Xbox quick features list ever since I got my system, they lied to me! This false advertisement shall not stand, I tell you! I'll fight this to the end of days, or until I decide not to pursue it any longer!
Sue microsoft

Yes, but I also wrote that there is NO local multiplayer. That means the 1-2 was a LIE. That was practically why I bought it.
There is local multiplayer but you have to buy it for ten dollars.
That's just some bullshit that lets you pass a single controller around a room.
Same thing with skate. 1-4 local, aka hotseat.
Post on a forum to complain about it
wait
the back of the box for mass effect says that Xbox live might be necessary to play co-op
Splitscreen doesn't happen anymore, companies want you to buy two copies to play with your friends, not share it for one copy.
