Some of you may remember a guy called Wommle (me) who ran an Ogame facepunch alliance about 6-7 months ago. It lasted about 1-2 months due to bad teamwork and lots of inactivity, but I don't want that to happen this time. Now on with the thread:
[B]What is Ogame?[/B]
Ogame is an online, text based, futuristic space simulator game. You are given a starting planet when you create an account, at a random location in the universe. As you progress through the game building up your resources and creating a large colony, you have the option to wage war against others. The bigger you want your fleet, the more work you must do to create it. Making fleets involves a lot of time and patience, as you will need to wait for your research/buildings to be completed. In the end it all pays off and you can have a huge fleet to blow the fuck out of people with :buddy:
[B]The Alliance[/B]
The Facepunch Alliance (FPA), will hopefully consist of hardworking and dedicated players. Inactive players will be kicked after a period of time. Here is the ranking system:

As the alliance grows bigger (hopefully), more ranks will be added.

Register on [B]Universe 40[/B], read the tutorial you get in your inbox if you are unsure of what to do. To join the alliance, search for FPA and apply.
I hope this gains popularity again.

I thought everyone stopped playing this... I had over 31 planets when everyone in my alliance or w/e stopped playing... I may give this a try again!

i thought everybody stopped playing too. i only recently started playing again but it's pretty boring/hard when your playing with people you don't know.
For some reason I was REALLY really into this game, and one day I stopped playing for no reason.
I might try this again, but probably not because it seems like people flip shits over browser-based games and MUDs more frequently than other games.
