• Project64 Controller issue

I just bought a pack of twin controllers (two PS2-style controllers daisy-chained together) with dualshock vibrators in them. When using them in normal games, they work fine. But when I use them in PJ64, they act oddly. When playing a game supporting the rumble pak, they do nothing. When playing a game NOT supporting the rumble pak, they sort of "pulse", vibrating once every 1.5 seconds. Rumble paks are enabled. Anyone got any ideas?
Turn off the rumble paks?
:saddowns: But I want the rumble paks enabled...
The answer is to play the games on a real N64. What you're doing is illegal anyway, unless you flashed the ROM images to a file yourself. I also suggest updating drivers, and trying another emulator, if you really don't want to purchase the games you play.

I'm asking for help with the EMULATOR, not the ROMs. How I got the ROMs is my business, and my business alone. If I wanted help running the ROMs, THEN you could've complained. I've tried other emulators, but they almost always crash on loading. Also, since I use Windows 7, the only drivers that DO work are the newest ones.
Emulator = just a freeware program - legal ROM = well.. that depends where you get it. - legal/illigal but he only asks for the emulator not the roms so this is just legal
Try finding another controller plugin.
Try finding another controller plugin.
I just noticed that N-RAGEs controller plugin supports rumble on the PJ64 FAQ. Thread over.
