• Theaters of war that game designers haven't touched

You all should know very well which theaters of war have been beaten to death: the Sci-fi, world war II and current day warfare, even Vietnam has been done by a few games. I notice there's nearly nothing game wise about the Korean War. In fact its not a warfare subject a lot of people talk about, so I am not all that surprised nobody's bothered to produce a game set in this era. Vietnam has been done by the Battlefield Series and a couple other games (Men of Valor) but for the most part they hadn't gained enough popularity to make a newer game. I would love to see a game set in the Korean War, mainly because nobody appears to have bothered to try.
A game where you play as the Nazis during WWII (D Day)

I got it for like 2€ and still regret purchasing it.
A game where you play as the Nazis during WWII (D Day)
I believe some people have tried that, but they haven't sold well.
I still want some sort of medieval warfare game. With todays graphics, I think it would be pretty awesome.
A game where you play as the Nazis during WWII (D Day)
I don't think gamers are that interested playing Nazi Party members behind desks signing things.
A game where you play as the Nazis during WWII (D Day)
Because apparently, noone likes losing, so they never FUCKING make it. Not that I wouldn't not like it( Also people who aren't jewish will complain that it is racist towards jews).
I still want some sort of medieval warfare game. With todays graphics, I think it would be pretty awesome.
Mount and Blade
A game where you play as the aliens invading earth. Not Destroy all Humans.
Mount and Blade
Mount and blade only meet half the requirements. Unless I'm thinking of another game.

A Viking game where you lead your band of Vikings to raid villages and monasteries to get money to either hire more Vikings, or buy better equipment/boats.

WW2 on the Axis side, in fact I don't think I'll be buying anymore WW2 FPS games unless we get to play as an Axis soldier, I'm so damn tired of the same side (Allies) and battles (actually I'm quite tired of the WW2 scenario, but playing as Allies every damn time doesn't help). But we do get to play as Axis in RTSs at least. Also no WW1 game has been done yet I think (at least not a big one), but that is most probably due to the trench warfare.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/ancient/vikings/launch_gms_viking_quest.shtml
This, only you play as one person commanding your forces, think Mount and Blade, only a fuckton better and set in this time (and rated Mature, I want me wenches.)
WW2 in China. I've never seen it.
WW2 in China. I've never seen it.
That's because it would be immediately banned if it was from a Japanese Soldiers point of view (first person rape isn't too fun) and would consist of trying not to die on the Chinese view.

I want an urban warfare type game where you would do battle in office buildings and skyscrapers and such. You could be terrorists or counter-terrorists. As I wrote this it sounded more and more like Counterstrike.
I'm pretty sure Mercenaries took place in the Korean war
I'm pretty sure Mercenaries took place in the Korean war
Wrong time period, Mercenaries was modern Korean War.
German soldiers did actually survive WW2 and you could play as one of them.
Like the guy who manned one of the MG-42s on Omaha As the OP said, the Korean war hasn't been done much. It's basically WW2 in Vietnam with some early jets thrown in.
Fighting soldiers in Iraq?
WW2 in China. I've never seen it.
It would be more interesting if it was set in the Warlord era (1916-1928). There's a lot more interesting stuff happening then than in the Second Sino-Japanese War. There's also the Boer War in 1899, the numerous Arab-Israeli wars during the Cold War and even the Iran-Iraq War. Someone needs to take the depth and flexibility of Steel Panthers II and turn it into a modern remake.

Sounds just like one of those Hollywood stories (except that the guy was German and not American this time).
A game about the Mongol Conquests.
I think that a german view of WW2 could work. The final level would be you and your squad evacuating to neutral Swedish territory on foot or jeep. Not bad at all.

CoD Not-Too-Distant-Future Warfare is a game I want to see. No lasers or stupid shit like that, just really cool advanced guns.
