So I was walking around in Shattrath City when I saw two level 13 and 14 taurens run by. How is this possible? I thought you weren't able to use portals to Shattrath or the Dark Portal until level 58, and aren't those the only ways to enter Outland?
Not necessarily important, just confuses me.
I went to shattrath at level 10 on a paladin during TBC via mage portal.
Went there at level 34 as a mage. It's possible.
Dude I always [I]used [/I] to set my home city to Shatt on all my characters.
Before Dalaran, Shattrath was the city with teleports to all main cities. As for getting there, just get a mage to port you.
My main was 21 when he went there :3
I thought shatt was the coolest city ever

Dalaran is organised, and everything is pretty cramped so that it's fast to get places.
Shatt is not organised, everything is crazy far away from eachother, so most of the time you're in the city you spend walking to places, than actually doing things. Not to mention that shit hole of a lower level where all the refuges are.

Shattrath looks blue and glows, I don't really give a fuck.
My only problem with dalaran is the lag and crippling load times.
If i hearth to SW it takes a good 7-8 seconds to load, if i hearth to dal it takes 30-40 secs to load.

I actually kind of like the no flying around in Dalaran thing. It was sort of cool in Shattrah I guess, but nothing amazing.

And agree Sams Brume, Dalaran is compact and well done so that having to have 300% speed to get anywhere vaguely quickly isn't needed.
We all know that Ironforge is better than all cities...

Dalaran is tiny and therefore causes major FPS rape.
I did it when i was level 10, a mage ported me.
