Evening FP.
Stumbled across a little gem of an in-browser game engine I thought I'd show you.

Here's the Tropical Paradise demo (all in browser)

Remember the early levels of Far Cry where you'd wander around and marvel at the lush scenery?
Well now's your chance to relive those moments.
Or for those who want something a bit more sophisticated, here's Avert Fate

(This one's not in-browser)

Anyways, there's more great stuff on the site, check it out, this has a lot of potential.
We need more games with non-scripted enemies the size of skyscrapers.
While it's a tad buggy, it's pretty decent that Avert Fate, and at only 176 megs or so, the gfx are amazing.

Oh yeah and it's all free, to the Free Games thread I must go.
Also iPod Touch / iPhone games can be made really well via this.

also op, change your avatar for god sake.
Wow.
Tropical paradise looks absolutely amazing for a browser game.
I played Advert Fate a couple of days ago. It's so well optimized. I hope lots of indie games start using it, very nice engine.

This game looks so fucking awesome:

The room is awesome, physics are great for in browser.
Holy crap. Amazing engine! I would totally play cheap/free games on this with zero bitching.
Raptor Safari uses Unity, and it's a fun game.

Don't forget unity has a free trial on the editor and stuff, here's a vid that was made with it.

I've been looking at this engine for the last month or so, I would say i'm tempted to make the purchase. Few things I need to check over first but, it's very nice as far as I can tell.

This engine rocks my socks off. :allears:
I came buckets on the Room of Shadows.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a post I agree with more.
I really wish my 360 wasn't broken so I could play Earth Defence Force 2017 again.

Oh look, no Linux version. I'm not even surprised.
Oh look, no Linux version. I'm not even surprised.
This would fullfill the epicness :D
[editline]10:50PM[/editline]
Also check out their forums for comminity made games :P
this looks great for such a cheap engine, though you can't really prove it's capabilities if there's only a few demos that uses it
you go suck a cock, that game was gold
Huge ants and random bugs that glitch out on the sides of buildings ? Totally awesums.
every game has glitches and bugs, sure it was full of em, but it was still as fun as hell
True. It was a good rental game.
I used it for iphone deving, it's probably the best engine i've used. NO other engine offers bumpmaps, envmaps, differed lighting, dynamic lighting, physics etc in browser, it is simply astounding.

Gonna get the trial on PC soon :D
Wow, the Unity thing is going to kill Flash and Shockwave games dead.
I just hope Newgrounds will start accepting Unity files, they are to awesome to die :(

It supports Ogg Vorbis and Theora natively though, which makes it a bit more awesome.
Impressive, even has penumbra's in the shadows.
It looks like a pretty interesting engine, built for making huge environments at low costs for the system.
