I've got a choice to get either of those games, but which one? I've seen some gameplay and review videos from both of them, but I'm still not sure. I think I like Left 4 Dead 2 better right now, but I want to know what other people's feedback for both games are.
So the question is, which game do you like better overall, and why do you like it better? Even if you voted in the poll, please say why you like the game you chose, and if you clicked the 4th option, please say what other game you think I should get.

valve is releasing new dlc for Left for Dead 2 soon, so some of the community who dont play anymore will come back.
Ive played both and my vote would go for left for dead 2 as ive had more fun times with that game than with borderlands.
I probably spent more time on borderlands because of the co-op, Left4Dead 2 just got so boring to after a while, just like the first one. It's still a good game, just couldn't hold my attention for more than 6 months.

Just Cause 2. Borderlands has no replay value whatsoever unless your some sort of freak completionist.
Yeah what I'm saying is incredibly dumb according to the freak completionists. FYI I'm saying JC2 because I chose option 3.

Besides why compare the two yes they're both better with co-op but that's about it
Neither, they're both rather boring.
both games are better with friends, but borderlands is pretty much unplayable after you beat it once

L4D2. Also, you shouldn't have put that last option there if you wanted a good idea of what to buy. A lot of people will just choose that option.
I don't hate both. L4D2 is superior but not quite as fun without friends. Borderlands gets boring pretty quickly. I don't really have another recommendation since I have no clue what type of game you like. Get some good deals on Steam or some packs.

Well Left 4 Dead 2 is good and fun to play, lots of teamwork and random events ( fun times ), i havn't played Borderlands myself, but have got good remarks for it from both friends and family who have played it.
But i would recommend Left 4 Dead 2, if you are looking for re-playability and teamwork;
Borderlands for an MMO-type game.

Anyway, on topic:
Left 4 Dead 2 is probably better if you like generic zombie shooting.
Borderlands is slightly different because it's generic monster shooting.
They are both generic. The only interesting thing about Borderlands is that it's one of the very few in it's genre. Imagine an open world CoD4/MW2.
Left 4 Dead is quite fun and if you really don't have any zombie games it's definitely a good choice. I wouldn't exactly classify it as a "Horror", though.

Well I got about 100+ hours out of L4D2 and I got bored of Borderlands after ~35
Well it depends on what you will get bored of first. For me one full campaing of Borderlands was all i could manage. For L4D2 i have owned it since realease and only gotten 43 hours out of it.
I short both are good.

But most people cannot put up with the bordem of Firestone.
Both are repetitive. The question is, do you have money for DLCs or not.

L4D2 Every day. You just get bored of borderlands cause it looks like it never ends. At least by Single Player.

I liked borderlands a lot but once you complete it, it's not something you would ever ever play again because you know you're experience won't be very different from the first time. Left 4 dead is more fun, like you can just pop in, play a level and go. it's more quick satisfaction, whereas borderlands involves you levelling up and acquiring gear and stuff.

If I had the experience I do now and hadn't bought either, I would buy left 4 dead 2.

I have seen mikelat Lets Play with jay and it looks cool. I cant say anything bad about that. Borderlands Coop is better than L4D2 SINGLE PLAYER.
