I did play the original Deus ex , and It was fantastic. No , I want to play Deus ex before the Human revolution release. Should I download (from Steam , of course ) Deus Ex , or Deus Ex : Invincible war
Deus Ex. Deus Ex Invisible war is not that great compared to the first.
Sure, if you don't mind long loading times for tiny areas + general dumbed down gameplay since DX1.
Not as good as original, but still a good game from what I know.
Still a great game, just very different (Gameplay) wise from DX1.
As has been said, it's a good game in it's own right, it's just that it had to live up the grand expectations of being the sequel to one of the best, many would argue the best, games ever developed.
I didn't like it, at least.
As others have said - it's worse than DX 1 (by a longshot) but still vastly better than the average game then and now. The main issue with it is, that it was released on the original xbox as well and suffered extremely from that. I think there was something about having to fit the entire level into relatively small buffers or something. Which makes them quite small and not as detailed.
And the inventory SUCKS.
It's not as good as the first, as everyone points out. But I've had a strange urge to replay it sometime soon. It has good atmosphere from what I recall. I say go for it.
I never played the first. I first played Invisible War on xbox a few years ago, I loved it, but I really want to get Deus Ex.
