Blast your way across the cartoon skies in this fast-paced game of aerial combat. Nimbly Games has crafted an instantly accessible, rewardingly deep, and ravishingly fun multiplayer action game. The sirens have sounded, bogies are coming in hot…
Jump into the fast and agile Loopy and drop your enemies from the sky with a tactical EMP blast - but hit your afteburners before your Biplane support tears them to pieces with 20mm cannons blazing! Barrel roll through the enemy minefield and arm your nuke as you enter the drop zone. There it is - the enemy base - but two Mirandas just warped in with lasers hot and an Explodet is lumbering into position over their hangar decks — will you carry your team to victory?
Multiplayer Done Right: Developed by hardcore Counter-Strike players, Altitude combines Call-of-Duty style perks with the gameplay variety of Team Fortress 2 in a fresh multiplayer experience. Carefully refined controls, netcode, and balance make for hundreds of hours of deep, rewarding gameplay.
Seven Engaging Game Modes:
Plane Ball's constant action makes it a favorite among new and casual players while team-based tactical maneuvers like passing and blocking provide a fun challenge for veterans.
Team Base Destruction offers an intense, competitive experience where coordinated pushes and strategic loadout decisions turn the tide. Try a friendly pickup game or join a clan and play in the "Altitude ProLeague" - a competitive tournament scene run by hardcore gamers from the Starcraft and Counter-Strike communities.
For the ultimate test of dogfighting skills try 1-life Deathmatch or compete in Demolition for a more tactical, objective-based experience.
Or enjoy classic game modes like Free For All and Team Deathmatch.
Personally I own the game and I think it's a lot of fun. And it's only $10 - it's also available on Steam.
Sorry, this is my first game post.
before we get into any conversation, i'd just like to say, i'm out
So many good games I have to buy! :argh:
Well, according to FP this game isn't actually all that great.
One of those games that are fun for a few hours (2-4) then you never touch them again. There are hardly any planes (only 5 different planes), but they try and make up for this by making you have perks, which basically alters a skill or how your plane handles. It's shit, seeing as most of the perks require you to be an insanely high level.
I wouldn't have bought this game for the $6.99 it was on sale for if I knew how shit it would become.
Looks pretty stylized. I don't think I'd enjoy playing it all the time though.
Looks pretty strange.
I got this when it was 2$/£2/2€ on Steam and its quite good. Definitely a good timewaster.
Getting the demo, looks like fun.
Tried the demo, didn't like it.

Same.

Well actually you need to be level 60 to get every single perk, but that's relatively low considering there are Ace ranks (basically prestige levels) - There are 10 of them.
So 60 seems like nothing, it's quick as well, about 18 hours of gameplay to get to it if you can get a few kills.
Really great game. When I used to play, Miranda and Bomber were my planes of choice... maybe I should get back into it.

That's like saying TF2 is shit because it only has 9 classes and unlocks that don't drastically alter the game. :downs:

Except TF2 couldn't be done with flash.

The game was coded in C++ so I don't know what you're going on about

I didn't say that it was made in flash.

Your point is? Just because it's not technically advanced doesn't mean it's not good.
Why would you make a game thread with no gameplay pictures or videos?

Exact reason I posted the website, the videos / more information are all on that site.

Did I ever say it wasn't good?

Like, did you guys even read what I responded to? Or are you just really bad at interpreting conversations

You have much to learn about making threads
This game is fun. End of story.

Someone else said this game was bad because it only had five classes. I said that's like saying TF2 is bad because it only has nine classes. Then you say it could be done in Flash.
I dunno what your point was if it wasn't trying to insult the game for being technically simplistic. Unless you just inexplicably felt like stating that it could be done in Flash.

I was essentially agreeing with KingQ on the "fun for a few hours" aspect, and at the same time wondering what the fuck could make you think comparing 2 completely different types of games made any sense at all.
Have it, I usually play it with my friend who can't run anything else.

They're not completely different. They're two class-based multiplayer shooters, albeit in different perspectives with different mechanics. My point was that they both have a limited selection of classes with relatively little customization, but still tons of fun.
This game is actually the ultimate laptop game, along with trials 2 second edition.
trying to get my mom to play this game
it's pretty good every now and then when you have run out of things to play

95% sure it's done in Java, considering you can run it in Java on its website.

No, you use a facebook app, which downloads the game and runs it.
