I made a thread a while ago asking about your favourite HL2 mods, I played quite a lot of the ones you suggested and I'm still in the middle of some of them.
Sadly I am away from my main Desktop PC during the holdiays so I gave TFC and HL1:DM etc.
I thought they were awesome and I wanted to find out if there were any decent mods for HL1.
So if you've got any good HL1 mods that you think I should try please post them in this thread, thanks.

There's more than one mod where you time travel.
First of all there's The Gate, [url]http://www.moddb.com/mods/the-gate[/url], where you travel back in time to stop the Nazis from discovering one of the gates.
Some other time travel mods are the three parts of the timeline series, all made by Roth Smith. [url]http://www.moddb.com/mods/timeline-series[/url] Again this mod also has to do with Nazis time traveling so...yeah.
I played some one-map mod thing where you went through an ordinary office and shit seriously started going mad.
What was going on DEFINED the word [b][u][highlight]MINDFUCK.[/highlight][/u][/b]
Holes would tear up from the walls and heads would shoot out, chairs would be spinning and desks would be elevating. Scientist jumping around like snarks on the ground and then exploding into metal gibs.

Sweet Half-Life is one of the best mods I've ever played. It has a bunch of new weapons, NPCs, great gameplay, and an excellent ending(s).

If you want a medieval style HL1 mod, try Master Sword: Remake. Also, don't worry, even though it's called Master Sword, it has nothing to do with TLZ.

I'd have to say Sweet Half-Life and Half-Quake: Amen too
Anything by Neil Manke, and DAV.
Point of view is probably my favourite mod - good and long, decent plot and nothing to suggest that it isn't canon.
