Before I buy GTA4. Can someone answer a question I have? - Games

Before I buy GTA4. For the xbox (To play with friends who have an xbox instead of PC games). I need to know if there is an online free roam, that you can play with random people... As in i select multiplayer free-roam and get tossed into a server with random other people...Is it like this or can I only play free roam with JUST my friends instead of like 18 randoms.

You play with random people if you don't play with your friends.

Yes, there is a free-roam that you can make private.

Free roam is good with randomers sometimes, me and my friend where riding a motorcycle and i looked behind me and seen a fucking helicopter flying along the road trying to kill us, was fun.
