A 2012 videogame. I never thought they'd do it.
I played Emergency 4. Was fun, but I won't buy this one
Hmm, I always wanted to try one of those.
I actually like it, but I'm stuck though, I don't know what to do when dogs with rabies attack, or wild wolfs. It says I should get rid of them but how?
Get a police van, put some SWAT men inside, and then drive and shoot the dogs/wolf.
Oh and you draw gun by right clicking the SWAT guy.
4 player coop? Sounds like a fun time dicking around with friends.

emergency 4(911 first responders for some other people) had 4 player free play coop.
I always sucked at disaster-handling games. There is too much micromanagement ( like in EM4: get the firemen out of the firetruck, make him to grab a hose, connect the hose, realize you parked too far, disconnect, get in, park closer, redo the previous steps etc etc )
Right now I find it hard to catch a thief, when I call a police car with a few cops, I can't even make it in time to him, he runs away.

Yeah, the vehicles in this game definitely seem to be a lot slower and take dumb routes, theres a huge emergency and they seem to casually trundle over there...
2012: the year of emergency/disaster games.
I'm definitely going to try Emergency 4 when I get home, I can't believe I haven't seen this series before.
are there any zombies?
only thing about this game that could be interesting is if there were zombies...

Somebody tried to make a mod for it in EM4 but quickly gave up. :saddowns:

I don't think you could handle a zombie outbreak in this game, I can barely handle a fire, some looters and a heart attack at the same time.

EM4 Deluxe version had zombies (not in a mission but as a random disaster in the endless mode)
I see that this game is still micromanagement hell.
I remember playing 1 or 2 on the pc years ago, god i had fun.
So let me get this straight, first of all they go to some church, watch as a cross flattens a car, then they take him to hospital as the first mission. Then an a frozen icicle magically falls into the front of a car, with such precision that it hits the windows and causes the truck to crash.
:downsbravo:
I remember playing it with three other Facepunch users, was incredible fun.
Anyone played the game called Fire Department 3? That was like this, except it had less micromanagement ( hoses were auto attached and it was mainly about dealing with fires)
I remember playing it with three other Facepunch users, was incredible fun.
I'm trying to accomplish that with a few friends, but they don't seem to like the game :(
Well, I decided to get it, its fun, but man i wish there were 2 things in freeplay, a difficulty slider (or ratio of kinda of events) and the ability to save.
Would be fun though with 4 people working together, each one taking on a specific role.
Jesus Christ, the vehicles move so fucking slow.
Worst emergency vehicles ever created.
They aren't too bad, though could be better.
Anyone fancy a game?
Is there a disease where peoples heads suddenly explode upon infection?
:smug:
If there is I'll buy it.
Looks a little dated for a 2011 game.
So its like Sim City but the WHOLE GAME is that annoying Emergency shit? Fun...
When you play online with other people it is actually quite fun.
