Crysis 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to the PC title Crysis.
Unlike the first title (and expansion, Crysis Warhead), Crysis 2 will feature on all latest gen consoles, as well as the PC. Except the Wii.
The game presumably features Nomad, the original's protagonist, except this time he's gained a little weight. Or his Nanosuit has been upgraded. Now donning the Nanosuit 2.0, Nomad takes to the seemingly empty streets of a decimated New York City. His mission? Fuck shit up. But more likely, to save the human race from aliens, and maybe Koreans. But probably not Koreans this time. Most certainly aliens, and perhaps some form of alien robots.
Developed by Crytek, Crysis 2 uses the CryEngine 3, a vastly improved and optimized CryEngine 2. Crytek have stated that the CryEngine 3 has been optimized so much so to allow for it to be ported to consoles. Don't fret, quality won't be sacrificed. Crytek has claimed that Crysis 2 contains the best graphics in the history of video games.

Crysis 2 is scheduled to release sometime in Q3 2010.

I'm sure the first level or so is going to base around what happened to your crazy leader, maybe have you go towards the island but find out the aliens are teleporting across the globe and thats what the frozen thing was.
