Howdy folks. so this morning I bought 2 $50 steam vouchers from Gamestop but when I got home to redeem them they both said invalid code.
I sent a support ticket to Steam and they said this:

Now this is really getting me worried as I have not shown anybody my key, or the receipt so somehow somebody had managed to use my code without me knowing.
I got the 2nd code sorted out by using the regular product registration page rather than the Steam wallet voucher, but I still don't know what to do about the stolen code.
I sent a picture of my receipt with the code to prove that I am the actual owner of the code but will Steam actually do anything to help?
To my knowledge steam is pretty good about cases like this.
So long as you've provided all evidence you can I'm sure they'll be able to redeem it for you.
Alrighty so I got everything fixed.
Steam support was incredibly useless and slow, so I decided to give Gamestop another call and explain my current situation. they told me to head on over there. So I drove there and I proceeded to explain my situation. they gave me a new, working code.
so everything is gud now.
Steam support useless?
GameStop helpful?
