Alright, so I have come in some hopes that some of you may know what to do, as you may have ran into them in the past and have overcome them. Also, I looked at the rules for starting a thread here, and this doesn't seem to be against them.
Anyway, here are my problems.
You know how the Battlefield 2 1.50 patch was released yesterday, well, I patched to that and it all went fine. Until I actually went to play the game, I joined a server automatically, and mysteriously right after logging in. Weirded out yet? Yeah, me too. My game has a mind of it's own, BUT thats not the worst of it!
It would seem that Punkbuster has a odd obsession with screwing me over, by which of course, kicking me out of game when I could of been playing it. Now, you may be saying, shouldn't hack, bugs are in PB, deal with it. Alright, I take that and I agree.
Now thats not the fact for me, in fact, the problem is that I keep getting a "Service Communication Failure: PnkBstrB.exe heartbeats stopped"
First, I wondered why a freaking program would have a heartbeat in the first place, and then why it was happening to me in the first place. So I took into consideration, google might know! And I searched, searched, and found SOME answers. None of which, of course, worked. So to no avail, I took the liberty of contacting Punkbuster, which... will take a full day, possibly a week till I get a straight answer that could help me, knowing their reputation of support.
Anyway, all that and I wanted to ask. Why doesn't my ` work in that game? It doesn't work in Fallout 3 either, in case you are wondering that is the ~ (tilde) key.
