Okay, I've put this on the steam forums but they don't seem active enough to help me out.
So it seems when steam is open it suck the life out of my internet I can't connect to any game servers at all and my internet seems to slow down. I've ran speed test I get 19.54 when steam is closed and exited and when open I get a very slow connection it varies but it's hardly up to gaming standards. The only things I could blame is I've recently installed Windows 7
Anyway thanks for any help provided.
less desktop icons helps. also if you open Internet Servers tab on the main menu.... STORY TIME...jesus fuck. a while back when I had a bad router, loading up that list would make my router reset. also L4D fucks up Internet alot and what Browser do you use? one last thing. you see the icons at the bottom right of the screen in the taskbar? dont make so many run at once.
If all else fails... Get a new computer :D

how am i trolling?
shit sometimes people who call people trolls seem like the trolls themselves.\
and yes its mostly because how much your computer is doing atm. you should maybe maintain it in some way like CCleaner or maybe manually free up some space.
one last thing.... BT? ok there is your problem

Your "tips" are completely useless, and are irrelevant to the issue.
