Amnesia: TDD is a game created by the same developers of the Penumbra games, and we all know how the Penumbra games scared us shitless, this one is no different, it runs on the same (or updated) engine and it WILL scare you shitless.
The last remaining memories fade away into darkness. Your mind is a mess and only a feeling of being hunted remains. You must escape. Awake... Amnesia: The Dark Descent, a first person survival horror. A game about immersion, discovery and living through a nightmare. An experience that will chill you to the core. You stumble through the narrow corridors as the distant cry is heard. It is getting closer. Explore... Amnesia: The Dark Descent puts you in the shoes of Daniel as he wakes up in a desolate castle, barely remembering anything about his past. Exploring the eerie pathways, you must also take part of Daniel's troubled memories. The horror does not only come from the outside, but from the inside as well. A disturbing odyssey into the dark corners of the human mind awaits. A sound of dragging feet? Or is your mind playing tricks on you? Experience... By using a fully physically simulated world, cutting edge 3D graphics and a dynamic sound system, the game pulls no punches when trying to immerse you. Once the game starts, you will be in control from the beginning to the end. There are no cut-scenes or time-jumps, whatever happens will happen to you first hand. Something emerges out of the darkness. It's approaching. Fast. Survive... Amnesia: The Dark Descent throws you headfirst into a dangerous world where danger can lurk behind every corner. Your only means of defense are hiding, running or using your wits. Screenshots don't work.
What do you mean they don't work, they're working fine here but I'll upload them somewhere else instead of hotlinking.
this is like the 3rd or 4th thread on this game so far
Yeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaahhhh ordering now, fucking loved Penumbra.
A friend gave me the Penumbra pack back when it was on sale. I have BARELY managed to play two hours. Oh dear god.. amazing games though. I am just a major sissy. I like how this one has an editor, can result in some very interesting community content. That gives me an idea.. I can make very bright maps, so I can play without being scared! Genious!
This looks sooooooo much fucking better than Penumbra. As if they finally got the recipe down right. Knowing Penumbra, I can totally believe that the trailor is 100% in game.
might have to get this only ever played the Penumbra demos years ago liked them but wasn't sure I would be able to complete the whole game
Hnngh I want the demo.

Can't see shit in those screen shots.
I loved Penumbra, finished all 3 of them. Game had one of the best puzzles, physics, atmosphere and horror. Definitely getting this.
They're not going to get enough pre-orders.
I'm sooo doing a LP of this once it's out.
