Sup FP, anybody here use FSX? I do, and I love it. I fly usually once a day in the sim, just to keep myself familiar just incase i want to go out for a weekend in my buds plane. Anyway for yall folks, FSX is a flight simulator. FSX stands for Flight simulator X, and its by Microsoft. I like FS9(2004) too, but i feel it lacks a bit with some features.. I'm getting sick of FSXs landing gear, it just digs through the ground :( I also wish the actual flight simulation was more realistic (e.g. uses wind and aerodynamics, like x-plane) :crying: FSX also crashes a lot on me, not fun when you are doing those transatlantic flights :(.. good thing i save :P So.. any FPers here who use FSX/FS9? also share your stories and rant on about bugs here. this isn't for xplane, that deserves its own thread :P
I was going to try it once, other than the demo, but then I found out it still costs about £60.
How are the graphics so damn good in that video? I usually only get around 10 fps whenever I try to turn the graphics up.
I still play it here or there time to time. I like it most out of all of the flight sims because of the virtual environments. Though I noticed some of the higher profile payware aircraft use more realistic aerodynamics

I love this game, but i prefer FS2004 though. :P
What's the music to the video in the OP? :iia:

I clicked the thread thinking FSX was something fun.
FSX runs like shit on my machine, so I used to play a lot of FS9. Infact, I want to install it again now.
FS9 is really fun, honestly FSX just seems to immerse you more, and updates everything (world maps). They just put in gates in my airport (MYNN) in 2007, and it was not in FS9 (doh). and its in FSX. . anyway, i say install it and try the captain sim space shuttle mod, or if you want to keep your cash, and simulate it more realistically, download orbiter.
Yea, I got this and FSPassengers. Now I can simulate scaring the shit out of people with my crap flying!
I love FLight Simulator and I want this. Specs required?
duno a fast CPU really.. whats your specs? @ jordguitar, I love that mod :q: I redid the hudson crash under the pilots name "sully" and i managed to get all passengers to live.. pretty awesome. I was using a 757 from captain sim, probably was harder than if i did it in the airbus
Shit specs. I'll wait.
I have Flight sim 2004 but not FSX
