Not like you can use sv_cheats 1 in multiplayer anyway.
even though you are new, still pretty dumb question.
Nothing built into the game can get you banned.
sv_cheats is not an external .exe, program, or dll, bin, or anything of that sort, it won't get you vac banned, because vac only looks for things of that sort.
Why will a console command, get you VAC ban?

No, which begs the question why so many people get VAC banned. I don't think I'll ever understand why people would want to do anything more than sv_cheats 1 (which can't be used in multiplayer anyway)
