Well, im playing bf2 but its kinda annoying that you cant pass the map through the red stripes. Can anyone tell me how to remove the limit or just go but dont die?
Project Reality has maps about 10 times the size of VBF2 maps, ask on their forums for an in-depth guide, we don't really know here. http://www.realitymod.com/

I'm assuming he doesn't want a conversion mod just a small one like those reskins.
You realise this is useless unless you are running the server?
No.. I just want the NORMAL battlefield nothing different. If theres a little mod for removing it it would be helpful. I cant download mods like Reality etc.
You're just stupid. You basically just said what I just said. (User was banned for this post ("not helpful" - Spork-Juct))
Soldier go and clean your brain. I am going to use it with Omnicide mod. Because the map is so small wich you can barely play.
There isn't any way other than editing the map as far as I know.
And there is a big chance EA hardcoded those barriers, to only make fan made maps bigger. It wouldn't suprise me, like Thom said, the PR maps had to be made from scratch to allow their huge size.

You don't make sense so how do you want people to help you if you want a mod but not a mod..
Stop acting like an idiot. He means he wants modifications that remove the barriers from the map. He doesn't want a fucking total conversion that doesn't even use the original maps.
I don't think you can remove them, but I'm pretty sure you can change the time before it starts killing you when you go into it.
download sandbox mod for battlefield 2, it takes away the red lines
Sadly there is nothing of value past the red-lines.
Sadly there is nothing of value past the red-lines.
Only more playing room for about another 40000 feet then drops off into an ocean. And alot of maps have cool little area's, the one map with the city on both sides of a dry river has a little oasis with a tree near the MEC side.
