Is it just me, or is everyone on CoD4 online with a mic (for PS3) either an 8 year old or a gangster. I either get mic spammed by little kids with high voices, or have to put up with some guy talking like hes the shit and being all loud mouth gangster like. (Sorry for the bad grammar there, didn't know how else to put it.)
I played games like that when I was little, but I sure as hell wasn't like them.
It's like this on the 360 as well :( faggots using mics. I don't use one cause I don't want. To talk to them.

You're kidding? I've never met a CoD4 player on PS3 who was younger than 16, besides me of course. I think you're mistaking the console or something.

There's no such thing as a "ps3 mic", there's bluetooth and there's USB headsets.
All of them sounding bad to you is basically impossible. I hear people just fine, sometimes you get someone with a cheap headset, but those are quite rare.

Rarely do I actually hear humans. Instead I get terrible music (usually rap, RnB, Hip hop, techno or an variation of Drum and bass), all of which is of a bad quality so you can't actuallly hear what it is, it just becomes a bass fart.

Yeah you can mute on a few games.
You see the problem is the majority of the FPS market is divided into four main categories.
Young Kids (8-13) whose parents bought the games and console for them: Most annoying.
Teenagers (14-18) who have a part time job and bought it for themselves: Least worrisome generally.
Douchy/Gangster Kids (Varying ages) who think they're the shit and feel the need to repeat this notion over and over again.
Frat Boys (19 until early adult hood), enough said.
There are of course the genuinely good people who are enjoyable teammates that may even make it onto your friends list.
It's pretty calm when playing in europe. Mostly brits that yell at stuff.

Then there's the guy who has to leave to go pick up his kids from school
when someone plays music in the lobby it echos x23 times and it pisses me the fuck off
And the Guy who's playing Call of duty with his 4 year old Child on his lap with earache screaming into the mic
Yea you can mute them, but after every game in the lobby you have to listen to them bullshit about how they owned everyone or listen to the little kids sing. Then re-mute them again.
This is why I don't play Halo. And also why I enjoy playing TF2 on my Xbox. All the little kids think its too hard and leave.
PS3 mics are indeed horrible.I can never hear anyone ever talk loudly.It's like their whispering.
I can't understand anyone since everyones mic's are shit.
I also hate people using them on PS3 aswell.
