However, mid flight, the UFO is hit by a meteor storm which sends it hurtling down onto a nearby planet. Entering the orbit of the strange new world, critical parts of the ship break away, spreading all over the terrain. It's up to Knytt to travel through caves, deserts, castles and underwater tunnels to return the pieces and get back home. [b]Grim's Opinion:[/b] Honestly, you [i]must[/i] give this a try. It's free, it's fun, and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Just please, do yourself a favour. This time, the focus is moved from Knytt to Juni, a young girl. However, as well as having a new main character, Knytt Stories also includes a level editor, allowing players to create their own, exciting stages, ranging from exploration, puzzle, "Nintendo hard" platformers, horror and even drug trips. Knytt Stories also includes new powers, such as the Umbrella (for gliding), the Hologram (for bypassing motion sensing enemies), and the Ghost Eye (makes invisible blocks visible. Unfortunately, ghosts also become visible). Nifflas has also released some expansions, which I will add to the list of user maps at the end of this post. [b]Grim's Opinion:[/b] This may be set in a whole new direction than the original Knytt, but it's still a fantastic experience. Some members of the community are incredibly creative, making some absolutely gorgeous backgrounds, creatures and storylines. The range of styles Knytt Stories can adapt to is also very impressive. I personally liked the chill soundtrack, especially the song that plays after you make the world all pretty again.

You should keep working on those, they look good. The last screenshot looks slightly like a cutesy 1213, which slightly scares me.

Just finished playing Knytt. Got bare depressed when I hit 'a' and it pointed me back to the ship. Gonna download and play Knytt Stories now. Oh yeah I remember watching Protonjon about two years ago and that got me into Knytt.
