• Importing N64 models into Hammer.

I've seen people manage to import N64 models into Gmod to be used as models/ragdolls, so I assume this it is possible to also manage to get these things into Hammer. Is there a guide anywhere to doing this? How possible would it be to rip the models of specific N64 game levels and make use of them in Hammer to the point where they'd be playable in TF2? If someone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. And no I'm not trying to make a Perfect Dark/Goldeneye mod.
You'd have to recreate the model/map, rather then importing them.
Possible but impractical.
DirectXRipper or something along those lines. It's not perfect.
Well okay, but what about just importing character models, such as those already ripped for Gmod, or ones I rip myself and using them as objects in a level?
it's very annoying yo pull n64 models out of the game. you have to use vrml exporter plugins and then remap the stuff and ugh. ripping models yourself is no easy task
There's an emulator that has a video plugin that lets you rip models and textures. can't remember the name, though. try this in mapping section
Someone's working on gm_clocktown over there, in the Mapping section of the Garry's Mod forums. Ask him.
