here's the deal, I got the option to tell Lucas Simms about Burke, he got killed by Burke, but I thought that I would be able to get the fusion pulse charge back after letting Simms die. not so, said the game. so I'm stuck. I want to destroy Megaton. hell, the game still says "disarm the bomb... or rig it", which means it still assumes that I have the charge. but now it's gone. is this a glitch or was this added in in a patch? is there a way I can get it back without having to redo hours of gameplay? (I didn't save beforehand because I had assumed I'd get the charge back. in fact, I think I DID get it back in a prior playthrough...)
i just want to know which one gives you more experience, but nobody has responded on the fallout 3 thread. im sorry i dont know the answer, but if no one tells you then i'll get back to you as soon as possible.
You thought wrong. Getting the charge assumes you arent going to tell Simms, unfortunatly youre gonna have to put all those hours into doing Vault 101 again...
damn. well, I guess I can live with the positive Karma for now. next time, though...
Surely there is a ID attached to the item, so you could spawn one. Every item/ object in FO3 has one, I don't see why this would be any different.
Telling Simms should have ended the quest, 's a glitch.
