Probably the worst opening to a trailer ever. They just list all the stuff that makes Halo multiplayer shit.
This trailer must have been made for 12 year olds who think swearing is funny and trashtalking makes you pro.
Why do PC fanboy nerd gamers bash so hard on Halo? It's a great game and it's like they don't want to hear a thing about it but have never really played the game.

So my opinion on fun is wrong? Thanks for your valid argument. I have surely lost this debate.
Again, you have made the great mistake of thinking you know exactly who I am and what I do with my spare time.
I have fun on games I like - games that require thought. I like to play [I]Empire: Total War[/I] and slow, thinking games like that. But I also like to play well-balanced, fast-paced multiplayer shooters that require some element of skill like [I]Day of Defeat: Source[/I] and [I]Team Fortress 2[/I].
Note the emphasis on "balanced" and "skill". I don't enjoy Halo multiplayer for a lack of those two particular elements. In my opinion some of the weapons are very poorly balanced and the game is simply a matter of "I saw you first, I shoot you, you die. A guy comes up behind me and kills me because he saw me first. I respawn. Repeat." It is a game in which the enjoyment of the player, in my opinion, is directly relative to the amount he can irritate other players. There is a distinct lack of any thought process or teamwork in the gameplay and therefore, for me, a distinct lack of "fun" in playing it.

Played through most of the Halo series the other day, I tell you, Halo 3 ODST on Legendary is a really good time. You have to think hard about what you do when playing as the Rookie.
On topic, it looks like I can play Halo Multiplayer Stealthily, for once.

I didn't say they trash-talk and talk like they're pro. I said the trailer is aimed at people who trash-talk and talk like they're pro.
It isn't the swearing that makes me think of 12 year-olds, its the fact the swearing is censored and really awkwardly pulled off that makes me think of 12 year-olds.
Also, the 12-year old trash-talking pro comment was simply a more snappy way of stating "this trailer is aimed at the archetypal Halo fan".
ChestyMcGee hated on my beloved Halo :(
