My friend had gifted me tons of games, one of which was GTA 4. My computer, shitty as is, cannot run it. Now it clocked in 108 mins of me installing it. I have a ton of other M games also. Now, my cousin got into steam. He is 24. If he finds out I play those games, he will tell my parents. And my parents are those strict kind. My profile is set to private, were only I can see/read it and see wgat games I have. But because it's private, tf2 items and other various sites wont work because my profile is private. Is there a way to hide what games I have and make my profile public? Thanks.
You can do what your parents say and refrain from playing those games?
No, it's not funny. :c If you could see what my parents could do to me if they saw me playing Killing Floor... :ohdear:
Eh, what am I saying. I bought GTA 4 for my 12th birthday. On my own.
I had to bribe them to the max just to get me TF2. They regret getting me it.
No, it's not funny. :c If you could see what my parents could do to me if they saw me playing Killing Floor... :ohdear:
Just tell them that they're just games, and that if you can't distinguish the difference between real life and a game, you shouldn't be playing them. [editline]23rd December 2010[/editline] Oh, and tell them that the News is far more violent than your silly hat simulator, failed experiment eradicator, or murder-based racing game.
They would bitch slap me if I said any of that :smith:
Just Leave it private, once in a while go public, update backpack on tf2items.com then make it private again.
Ok, thanks.
I bet your cousin plays Spore all day long

He should just be your cousin, just warning you by the way these games may not be for your age, that's all. [editline]23rd December 2010[/editline] It's not like you were doing something really bad either, otherwise I would understand him.
quick question how old are you?
yeah, my parents let me play gore games and i'm not that old.
When I was younger my parents didn't care batshit what I was playing, as long as I didn't get influenced by it.

You can block people. Every time you go to play your GTA IV block him. Problem solved.
You can block people. Every time you go to play your GTA IV block him. Problem solved.
that doesn't stop his cousin from viewing his profile and seeing that he OWNS the game
beat the shit out of your cousin, establish dominance.
I bet your cousin plays Spore all day long
I just Spore'd :gizz:
14
Dude i've been playing violent games since i was little
Dude i've been playing violent games since i was little
That means that you're going to grow up and be violent and kill everyone you meet. :downs:
Snap your cousin's neck while he's playing Spore, then rape and kill your parents in their sleep. /problem
Just tell them that they're just games, and that if you can't distinguish the difference between real life and a game, you shouldn't be playing them.
if you can't distinguish the difference between real life and a game, you have some serious kind of autism
My little brother got 50 Cent Bulletproof when he was 10, my parents don't give a shit about what we played when we were kids
14
I was less than nine* when I played postal 2.
It's rated M for a reason. take Cho Seung-Hui as an example.. AKA Virginia Tech Massacre.
14
Niven if you want to play games such as GTA without anyone knowing, all you have to do is go to your friends list and put yourself "Offline" from friends, no one can see you playing games or even being online. Then play all day long, once done you can put yourself back "Online" and let your cousin complain to you why you haven't been on.
Dude i've been playing violent games since i was little
You mean little as in young or little as in body size?

The main problem is people can see what games he owns on his profile, and they can most likely see how much time he's clocked whether or not he's "offline"
By the way, OP, change this hideous Steam username of yours Just a piece of advice.
