• Games with large open spaces, explorable?

I was wondering if anyone knew of any games with large, explorable open places. Games I've already played like these: - Oblivion - Shivering Isles - I actually thought Trackmania Sunrise was pretty cool when you build a city map, with a huge ramp, and fly off into the land. It never ended until you got to the skybox. - Flight Simulator was pretty cool I suppose. - Assassin's Creed - Fable - Guild Wars - World of Warcraft That's all I can think of for now. I think Oblivion was the best because I like Medieval things, and Oblivion was huge, and had those. EDIT: Ok, I remember now. - Fallout 3 (Which was really nice, I liked the Oblivion style gameplay.) - Crysis - Crysis: Warhead Do you guys know of any that are like this?
Fallout, any of them.
any of the armas and operation flashpoints
STALKER, any of them but SOC is the best IMO
Crysis had a big explorable world. There really is alot more to the game if you don't just run n gun your way through it. -- OP edited and added Crysis.
ArmA (Both of them)
Try Hide and Seek outside, mate. [editline]02:40AM[/editline] It's MMO.
Basically almost any MMO (P2P for sure)
Try Hide and Seek outside, mate. [editline]02:40AM[/editline] It's MMO.
Oh wow I thought he meant the real outdoors.
Prototype Infamous Red Faction: Guerrilla Any GTA game Edit: I second the STALKER games.
Try Hide and Seek outside, mate. [editline]02:40AM[/editline] It's MMO.
No, because if you're old enough to be posting on this forum then you will look like a twat playing it.
Good graphics too.
Tutorial is a bitch, takes a long time to level up and gain the skills necessary to play Hide-and-Seek.
You look like a twat playing WoW but that's not stopping you.
You look like a twat playing WoW but that's not stopping you.
That's because it's easy to hide while playing WoW.
Especially with the radar...
Already said, but ArmA 2 or OFP2 when it comes out.
Try Hide and Seek outside, mate. [editline]02:40AM[/editline] It's MMO.
Doesn't really work if you have no friends. Which is about 80% of this forum.
Well if you've played Oblivion, you should try Morrowind.
Serious Sam games. Lots of wide open area's to explore in.
I'm looking for these sort of games as well.

eve?
Shadow of the Colossus on the PS2. Stop standing there and buy it already, how many times does Facepunch have to tell you?
[homerchuckle] EVE... [homerlaugh] [coughing] X games. XBTF, XTension, X2TT, X3R and X3TC. The starting difficulty is quite high. Wish I had that picture that showed the difficulties of some games...
X2, X3, EVE, Grand Theft Autos.
Tutorial is a bitch, takes a long time to level up and gain the skills necessary to play Hide-and-Seek.
Yeah, and the higher levels are glitched, sometimes your character forgets all their skills. They called it "Alzheimer's". What a stupid name for a glitch.
Try Hide and Seek outside, mate. [editline]02:40AM[/editline] It's MMO.
Where's the online part in hide and seek outside?
Shadow of the Colossus on the PS2. Stop standing there and buy it already, how many times does Facepunch have to tell you?
There's plenty to explore, but not much to do except look for health fruit.
Outside? Thats truly the best game ever.
