Hey everybody, I was just wondering something, you see there is this zombie game that's been out for a while now, but I was wondering; have any of you bought and played it? I bought it, it's fun although it was highly unstable at first, but after several patches, I think it's safe to say it's a lot more stable then some other games.
It's barely comparable to Big Rigs and Kuma games.
How so?
I remember seeing some gameplay videos, and it looked like it had potential, but the controls looked awkward and graphics put me off it completely. Has anyone else tried it with these new patches, or just what you thought about it?

...I liked it. Personally I could care less about graphics, and considering it was done using XNA I dare say it's quite well done. Also, it isn't easy when your an indie game developer to get good graphics.
Yeah.... game turned out to be as fun as punching yourself in the nutsack
...If this is how most people feel, it's a wonder if and how indie game companies manage to survive. I liked that game, sure it's not as good as major corporations' out there, but hey at least they care what the fans have to say. :/

Sorry... Well anyways, I like it. Besides, in fort zombie one cool thing you can do is rather then just blow off a zombie's head, you can blow off their entire torso! I don't know any other game where you can do that...
Although on the downside, some zombies can use guns... :wtc:

Fort Zombie is horribly executed game that is not worth anyones time, computers space, or reserves of sanity.
Wow... In all due honesty, I don't think it's that bad. It's okay, and one thing that makes me love playing it is, I can give children shotguns! =D
Well it isn't terrible. But it certainly wasn't a good game.
When I tried it when it was released, the controls were shit and the graphics and physics were hilariously bad when you consider how bad it runs.
Well it runs a lot more stable with the latest patch. Although the physics I'll admit are still pretty screwy. I don't know howm, but I managed to get crushed by a cardboard box. XD
Does it have decent controls yet, IE a good FPS / TPS aiming system?
...You still have to click where you want to shoot... XP
Terribly optimized considering the awful graphics, extremely clumsy control system, and it's extremely unstable.
Sounds to me like you're just trying to justify the money you spent on it, it's okay... everyone has wasted their money on an awful game atleast once in their lives.
But, I forgive the devs since they also made the wonderful Sword of the Stars games.
It's not that bad with the latest patch. :/

Its buggy, graphics could be better, and it needs optimization.
I think its OK, its got TONS of potential, it just needs to realize that full potential.

Doesn't change the fact that the only difficulty that comes from the game is bad framerate and bad controls.

Controls are fine. Framerate is a good 30 for me, however with some drops.
The controls are this:
Space - Jump
Cntrl - Walk
Shift - Sprint
WASD - movement
Movement of mouse - Movement of cursor (With an aiming deadzone)
Left click - shoot.
Not that complex or shitty.
Also, the game is pretty hard, you really have to be careful because if a horde catches onto you, you are pretty much dead.
I remember making the thread and then being horrified at the how horrible this game was.
sounds like an interesting idea (i wish l4d2 scavenge mode was like this) but if it is as bad as everyone says it sounds like a game to be avoided at all cost
No, you should play it. It is still ok, not terrible, but not a masterpiece.

Trust me that trailer glorifies it so much, but it's ok, I guess.
