The PSP was released in Japan on December 12, 2004, in North America on March 24, 2005, and in the PAL region on September 1, 2005. There are currently 4 different models 1000, 2000, 3000, and GO. The numbers at the end of the model numbers are region codes. The PSP change only a bit through out model changes such as the PSP 2000 added a video out and mic port along with 32MB more ram and 32MB more System Software, the PSP 3000 removed the mic port for a built in mic, the PSP GO got 16gb of of User and System Software along with it's UMD drive removed for portability. Also the later the psp model the hard it is to get custom firm ware for it. List of the psp models. Metal Gear Peace Walker is one of the best game for the PSP, and imo, the best Metal Gear Solid out of all of them. [editline]22nd December 2010[/editline] Oh and I still have my phat psp. Still works like a charm after a dozen drops. These things are built tough.
PSP 1000 represent!
I have a PSP 2000. Edit: Something's wrong here... Well, fuck.
PSP 2000 and 3000. 2000 has CFW. PSP is possibly the best handheld out there, and terribly underrated. Oh, and Resistance Retribution is a good game. Fireteam Bravo, and Syphon Filter (the online one) are good games.
Yeah but some can't get cfw due to their ofw version and mother board. Here's something I found in a thread. Also I originally had a psp 1000 that died a year ago and I just bought a PSP 3000 about a month ago since I needed one for a homebrew game that I'm apart of. - All PSP 1000s are currently hackable. - Most Slims (PSP 2000s) are fully hackable, except the newest ones with firmware 4.01 loaded or above. To see if you have a Slim with the "unhackable" TA-088v3 motherboard inside, check this thread. If you do have an "unhackable" PSP, you can load a temporary application called CFW Enabler and run your homebrew and ISOs from there (see below) - PSP Brites (PSP 3000s) aren't fully hackable, but CFW Enabler can be loaded on those with 5.03 firmware and below to run your homebrew and ISOs (see below) - PSP Gos currently cannot play ISOs, but can play some homebrew through the Half-Byte Loader
- PSP Brites (PSP 3000s) aren't fully hackable, but CFW Enabler can be loaded on those with 5.03 firmware and below to run your homebrew and ISOs (see below)
This is gonna be fixed in the 24th. (If your version is 6.20 and not any higher)
I had one (PSP 1000), but then I broke a few buttons so I sold it to Gamestop
This is gonna be fixed in the 24th. (If your version is 6.20 and not any higher)
Well I think total noob is porting that to 6.35 too.
Just updated the list. Has anyone else played God of War: Ghost of Sparta? I find it to get better an better through out the game. At first the first boss was rough since my hands started to cramp, but later on different controls can be used avoiding cramps in the hand. It's also fun combining moves and slaughtering the skeleton soldiers.
Several years ago(around 2007) I received a PSP with about 6 games and 10 UMD movies for free. Didn't ever really use it too much since I was busy playing games on my PC and Xbox but it was pretty cool for the most part. My idiot older brother sold it all for money without my permission though about a year after I had it.
Why do leaked images have to looked to obviously leaked? Like, super crappy quality.
I had an original White PSP 1000 straight from Japan when they were released. Loaded custom firmware 1.5 on there back in the day. But it broke so I got a black PSP 1000 and put CFW 5.50 Gen-B on that, with a 4GB Mem stick for all my things. Then that broke to. Stuck with a Psp 2000 with 6.20 OFW.
My PSP 1000 still works, but theres a couple scratches and dents on it, and no analog stick. just a plastic stub.
You make a PSP megathread and forget this game, shame on you [editline]22nd December 2010[/editline] Also 5.00m33 representing
Wish I could sell my camo Peace Walker PSP. Bought it with the full intention of playing it, but as with all portable systems I've owned, ended up leaving it home all the time.
I had one for awhile but then I got my gaming laptop and then a PS3 and I kinda moved on. Its missing now. And where is Chains of Olympus D:
PSP 1000 is where its at
i've got a psp 1000 with 6.35 firmware how can i jailbreak it
i've got a psp 1000 with 6.35 firmware how can i jailbreak it
You have to wait for a little while since it is unhackable right now. You never need to update your PSP if you want to enable homebrew on it.
You have to wait for a little while since it is unhackable right now. These links would probably be helpful http://forums.psp-hacks.com/f127/determine-if-ur-psp-is-hackable-start-here-t235073/ http://forums.psp-hacks.com/f133/the-hack-your-psp-mega-thread-t227349/
I got PSP-1000 and currently playing WipEout Pulse.
i am going to downgrade to 5.03 will i still be able to acess the store
i am going to downgrade to 5.03 will i still be able to acess the store
If that is official firmware then no. I remember that you can access it with custom firmware or latest official firmware you can.
Peace Walker is so fantastically amazing. Buy it if you haven't. Portable Ops is also great.
I like the PSP although only thing I play lately on it is Project Diva 2nd. Kinda want something new to play.
I like the PSP although only thing I play lately on it is Project Diva 2nd. Kinda want something new to play.
Peace Walker or Portable Ops.
Where the fuck is Patapon.
Peace Walker or Portable Ops.
I'm not sure why but I didn't enjoy Portable Ops nearly as much as other Metal Gears, but Peace Walker was brilliant.
I own a PSP 3000, I must say ZHP is quite a good game.
