Half-life 1 pplaying weird music when i connect to a server

Just today, my half-life started playing screaming, swearing, heavy metal music (the kind i hate) and it wont stop, is there a way to fix this? i haven't modded the game at all.

Delete the half-life folder in your account name's folder. If that doesn't work, virus scan.

I'm pretty sure that server owners can put custom sounds/music to play while connecting to their server.

They can, I used to have a HL1 server and I'd force Metallica/Megadeth to play during loading.

Same here, its if you have an external disc or something with music in it or a cd and it will play it,
i played opposing force and i got scared shit when "Never gonna give you up" started playing.
