Title says it all got some money to spend and i was wondering if ppl still play it online btw,NO SEARCH FUNCTION FTL
I few weeks ago I couldn't find that many public games But you really should play with friends and it's still worth getting it's awesome and if you have friends it gets even better
IMHO this game is only fun if you have friends to play with.
but there are public games,right?
but there are public games,right?
A few with more then one person playing I think
oh well,i guess ill get it ill wait before getting the DLCs though
I would STRONGLY discourage you from getting the game if you don't have friends to play with. I like it a lot with friends but hate it any other way.
It's better to spend your money on something else, since this game can be very frustrating and confusing. Especially playing with friends can be terrible if you have to wait for each other to figure out how to travel with the lack of a mini-map.
Hell no. I don't have friends to play it with and let me tell you Gearbox set up the absolute worst system for finding games online. You have to be the same level, in the same part of the game, and 90% of the games up there are just one guy running around in the desert. Also most of the games have an awful connection so you'll usually just get dropped after like 2 minutes Buy some other co-op game. Damn near anything is better than Borderlands.
Other then what i said before. This game is shit, The story sucks, The graphics are cool at first but then they become ugly and annoying. Buy something better.
Get something else, i had it but found it boring.
As others have said, get it if you have a friend to play it with (or better yet, 2 or 3 friends) If you do get it, you should try this out: http://gbxforums.gearboxsoftware.com/showthread.php?t=85874 That allows you to tweak some settings which you can't change in-game but are supported in the engine. (Such as VSync, setting FOV and removing the black outlines on objects)
This game is really fun. The only problem that I and a lot of people have is the "finding no servers for online". When the game first came out there was a lot of servers. Now whenever I go online I find little to none that are online. But seeing as buying it right now, I'd say go for something else. You probably won't experience the game like it was suppose to be.
No. Not worth any amount of cash above $20, you play it once and you never play it again.
Also the ending in this game was so shit, i could never play it again.
Also the ending in this game was so shit, i could never play it again.
1. Stand behind a pillar and shoot at the boss. 2. Repeat until it dies. Honestly, the part before the boss was harder than the boss itself.
Just get Diablo 2 and the expansion instead. AWESOME game, and Borderlands has close enough game mechanics to it.
Never was worth buying.
Yeah it's pretty awesome.
