I have two computers in my house. One has bad hardware and is slow, but has internet. My second has good hardware, a bit of a RAM problem, and is located away from any routers. I, of course, downloaded Steam and all of my games before moving it upstairs to my room, but I believe that is was all for no point, as every time I open steam it tells me that I am not hooked up to the internet and gives me the option to retry or "Start in offline mode". When I click the latter it tells me that I could not connect to the Steam network and closes. Now, I know that Facepunchers have better things to do than do research for me, so if you don't know then just leave, but if you do then please help. I want to know some way to turn on my computer, start Steam, and play games with no internet. Thank you.
You first need to connect to the internet so it saves your account to the pc
