Free Radical developed the first three games. However, they were recently bought out by Crytek, and are subsequently now known as Crytek UK.

and either way, it doesn't really say it's in production. you could ask any dev about the production of something and they can answer your question with "it's not in production"

As much as I prefer PC over consoles, I have a hard time picturing Timesplitters on the PC. If Timesplitters ends up on the PC then I really hope they allow it to support multiple controllers and split screen.
I always thought Timesplitters was about the Goldeneye/Perfect Dark style split screen multiplayer with friends.
When I think if Timesplitters, I think of three buddies and I playing in front of the biggest TV we can find setting snowmen on fire with flamethrowers, and getting blown up by monkeys with grenade launchers, and laughing our asses off.
If the multiplayer is online only then it wouldn't really feel like Timesplitters anymore, especially with irritable online players ruining the atmosphere.
I love 'splitters, probably the best multiplayer games I've ever played. So I'm really looking forward to Timesplitters4.

Yes, the blog is not owned by a company. I am an individual and I simply post findings about Crytek UK on my blog.
And people in the gaming industry can use emotions if they wish to. Why should they not? They make a good replacement for actual facial expressions.

On another note, crytec made the map editor for all Farcry games, which was great. Combining those two map editors will make me cream in my pants.
