Battlefield 1943....what gives?! - theories and discussion - Games

Seriously, its been almost an entire year since release and yet nothing for us PC guys. Seeing as how Bad Company 2 was a small WW2 segment and influence. I'm guessing that it'll come out as an expansion for Bad Company 2, just like Vietnam. Anyone else getting a bit restless or guessing about the future of our beloved 1943? It sure as hell feels like they're forgetting about us, and hopefully it isn't some dumbed down console version. I mean seriously, just the Pacific theater? Its not proper 1942 redo with out the European theater. It may be partially be due to Battlefield 3 (I really hope so).

Theyre working on Battlefield 1944. A full fledged sequel to 1942. PC only.

I have it on the Xbox. Forgot about it a long time ago. Seriously. BF:BC2 and CoD:BO are far superior games with less issues and larger communities.

I don't really give a shit anymore. I kind of cared before it came out at all. But since I hear it was nothing amazing on consoles I don't see the point anymore.

Only good part about 1943 was the fighters.

Can't vote since "fuck this, it's outdated by now anyway and i've got 'Nam for BC2 for my fix" isn't there. Nam vs 1943.. two more maps and a better engine makes Nam the winner.

I bought it over the Playstation Store the summer it was released. While it was fun for a while, four maps and the lack of any real depth quickly made me forget about it.

Just go back to BF1942 or play Forgotten Hope 2 for BF2.
