Bolvar, or the "Lich King" 's role in Cataclysm. Ideas? - Games

So Arthas/Lich King has been my favorite character of the Warcraft universe since Warcraft 3, but (spoilers), he's obviously dead now, and Bolvar Fordragon is now the new "chain of the damned" I.E. the Lich King. They left a lot of questions unanswered and a lot of things open (as far as I know). So then, Azerothieans and Facepunches, what do you think the new Lich King's role in Cataclysm will be, if any? I would personally love to see some involvement with him somewhere along the line, just now sure as to how it would fit in.

I'm betting they're not gonna do anything. Bolvar basically told Fordring to fuck off, and never return. The idea is that he's forever locked down the place.

Bolvar is not controlled by the Helmet, thus can do as he pleases with the Scourge.

Warcraft 4 it will be released in 2025 due to WoW's amount of lifetime......... ....Along with Episode 3

the cinematic of arthas dieing was so bad, it could have been epic if they just did CGI come on, years have been building up to that moment and then it just ends with a poorly done cinematic

I doubt they'll do anything with him for a long while. As was said before, Bolvar told everyone to get the fuck out. He has the willpower to not be taken over by the helmet so easily so I don't think we'll see from Bolvar for a long time.

Well he was part of an alliance and if he has alliance heart and hears the ongoing war news, so I guess he could start waging war against Horde and/or Forsaken or just against Deathwing. But that would be absurd.

They said that that part of the story was done. My guess it nothing. He's there making sure what's left of the scourge isn't a dickhead.

I'm hoping for subtle references in upcoming quests that will hint at the return of Bolvar.
