• What do you think the next year holds for gaming

The clue is in the title about what this thread is about. If you have any predictions for what the next year ahead of us may hold for gaming, the platforms and the systems that we all use. If you ask me, in the next year, PC Gaming will be dominated by STEAM and developers may start focusing on PC more after more people flock to PC after it becomes easier because of self-updates via STEAM. But I could be wrong, what do you guys think? (If all else, I do believe STEAM will hold a bigger part of PC Gaming over the next year)
Minecraft gets another update.
A shitload of crap And EP3 [img]http://static.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/rainbow.png[/img]

[QUOTE=Juggernog;27124747]I didn't see you mention The Elder Scrolls 5![/QUOTE] By Azura, by Azura, by Azura!
Elder scrolls V, Mass Effect 3, LittleBigPlanet 2, Crysis 2, Test Drive 2, Batman: Arkham City, and a shitload more. Basically a tonne of good games are coming out next year.
Episode 3... Will have an release date of 2051 announced. However, there is Portal 2 coming out this year. Hopefully.
I bet the Minecraft Megathreads will reach V300.
I will rage at Deus Ex 3's cover system and whine about how they ruined the series even though Invisible War started that off pretty well.
I have put more time into Oblivion than any other game, by far. My friend and I, when we get together, play Oblivion every time. We enjoy it more than any co-op game. With a little imagination you can RP in Oblivion and it really becomes your world. I would like to say that it's my favourite game of all time (that is, if I had to pick). So as you might imagine, I'm excited for Skyrim. [editline]1st January 2011[/editline] Honestly this year might give 2007 a run for it's money.
2011 best year for gaming since 2007
I hope it is games
Portal 2 :D [editline]1st January 2011[/editline] Oh and brink, both games to look forwards to.
I have no money And I must play :saddowns: [editline]1st January 2011[/editline] Time to get a job
Fable 3 on PC? [editline]1st January 2011[/editline] Why did they delay it so far.
Gameinformer keeps teasing "Half-Life 3". There has to be something they know that we don't.
I just can't wait for From Dust [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfKQCAxizrA[/media] And Portal 2 definitely yesssss
Nothing apart from TES 5, i don't think the next COD can hold up to the IW ones, and since there's no new consoles coming out, Steam will grow.
Elder Scrolls 5, Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age 2, Portal 2, HL: EP3, The Old Republic, Guild Wars 2, Diablo III, Torchlight II. It's going to be a good year for PC gaming. Not very many new series though...

Seems to be mostly a year of sequels as well. Not that that's a bad thing per se.
