hi,
does anyone know about a disk a pc magazine realesed for the sims 1 a while ago (i think it was pc powerplay)
anyway, there was a heap of modded items on there, like a genie lamp that you could pick good or bad wishes and such.
wondering if anyone out there has said disk (or genie lamp object) and if so can someone help me out by sending me it???

Those aren't modded objects. They're included in the official expansions.
No, I think he's talking about objects that you can choose if the good thing happens or not. It would be modded.

Ah, okay then. I thought he meant the genie lamp included in the game.
It sounds to me like he's asking somebody with the expansion pack items to send him whatever's on the disc...
no, the item i'm looking for is a genie lamp that in its little menu you can choose if it gives a good or bad wish. theres other items and things on there i want but i lost my disk. :(
I believe it was the Living Large expansion pack as i own the SIms Complete collection and just Livin' Large has that lamp

Yeah, you have to have bought the expansion pack to get that item. Asking someone to just give it to you is illegal.
The answer is: buy the livin' large expansion
Lots of people still play the sims 1, just search around for mods, try simslogical, Inge still has tons of mods around her sit for sims 1.
He's not talking about the Livin' it up/Livin' Large expansion, he's talking about a modded version of the lamp from that. He's asking for a download for a mod item, not the base expansion item. The expansion item gives you a random wish, usually bad, the one he's asking about gives you a wish of your choice.
