Try to keep the grinding aspect to a minimum,
It can be a social game, a pvp heavy game, a space futuristic game, pirate's, I don't care.
I don't really know the first place to look for these things lol. I'm not expecting to find the perfect game, it being f2p and all. I'm looking for something that's fun, and social as opposed to hardcore.
P.S. Not RoM, or WoW private server, or Maplestory. -0-
P.S.S. By social I mean it's fun to group, not Second Life social.

HellMoo? If you're into text-based stuff, it doesn't have a lot of grind. The learning curve is pretty damn steep though.
I've seen a whole lot about eve and it looks boring ._.; not trying to insult. I don't get the plot or w/e. The point of the game is a better way to word it.
Well the only good F2P game I can find atm is Runes of Magic. You tried Guild Wars? Its F2P after you buy the game.
The plot to EVE is whatever you make of it.

Dungeons and Dragons Online. Pretty sweet, good free content. If you want to do all the fun stuff at later levels you have to start paying, but it's good.

Neverdaunt 8bit? its indie, designed by one guy, no grind, sandbox and pvp, and i've been having a blast there! small but realy firendly community, the dev plays too, and he hates the idea of letting F2P make thigs unbalanced

"Crap" like that happen all the time in lowsec and zeros as long as you're man enough to fly there, where NO ONE will save you if you get in trouble.
So, EVE Online.
P.S. I made an experiment in EVE, how long would it take for me to get first PvP kill with a FRESH (new) character, 24-48 hours and you can successfully kill other players in lowsec.

Every day thousands of times a day, the "Epic battles" are exactly that, recently over 100 dreadnoughts were destroyed in a massive battle, and it will go down in history.
