So I have 40$ lying here on my desk.
What should I buy?
The new Pokemon look cool, especially since it'll be nostalgia-rific with it being a remake of Gold/Silver.
But are any other games out there worthy of my money?
I bought harvest moon DS and I play it almost an hour a day before I sleep, it's pretty addicting. Also my friend said Zelda Spirit Tracks was fun too.
Final Fantasy Tactics: Advanced 2 Grimoire of the Rift.
I've played over 200 hours of it since the release.
Hmm.. Age of Empires is fun, BUT its turned based! not real time
Pokémon I'd say.
Or you could get a flash kart and homebrew games on it. Like nethack.
flashcart.

This, it's a great game. You can also get the two Zelda games, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. I also recommend Meteos, but not its sequel.
And technically, the game's name is literally "Final Fantasy Tactics A2", not Advance 2.

This.
Just don't expect to run any other pokemon game past platinum to work. They have anti-piracy now

Good. :colbert:
I'd go for Pokémon, tons of playtime-per-dollar. Other than that, I could list a few extremely obscure RPGs that are fantastic, if you're interested.
I wanna get a DS :(
I think I'm gonna get Pokemon, thanks for all the opinions.
I'm picking Pokemon because, for whatever reason, they have a bunch of Pokemon Heartgolds with little Ho-oh/Lugia figurines at the exact same price as the regular game.
None. The DS sucks.
Pokemon of some kind.

Order it from Wal-mart. Last time I checked they had the figurines and a Pokewalker protector thing for the exact same price as a regular version bought elsewhere.

Fuck, I love that game, I try to do the main quest, but keep getting distracted by all the side quests you can do.
I'd go either for the above, the new Pokemon games, or Harvest Moon if you're looking for something with alot of playtime.
Yeah look into walmart I saw the same deal.
Call of Duty 5 and GTA: Chinatown wars are fairly good, both worth a try
pokemon or a flashkart

That's been patched for a few months now.
That one game with the words is pretty fun
Peggle.
Scribblenauts.
Advance wars.
Metal slug 7.
Professor Layton games. Those are mad fun.

Another vote for this bad-ass motherfucker of a game.
If you are into strategy games, I highly suggest Advanced Wars & Age of Empires.
It's really addictive once you get the hang of it.
