Soldner: Secret Wars, Also known as Semper Fidelis: Marine Corps, Is a 2005 Tactical Shooter that was notorious for its Amazing amount of Glitches, both fun and annoying.
Now all the bugs have been fixed and more content has been added, it is completely free.
SSW is pretty much a Call of Duty/Battlefield/Combat Arms Hybrid, with large maps, near infinite amounts of customization, tons of vehicles and well over 100 weapons. It also have fully destructable environments.
Funmod, a majorly developed mod for Soldner, makes the game even better, adding a massive amount of content to an already content-heavy game.
The community isnt dead, and Facepunch did have a thread about this before, but im too lazy to link it.

I apologise for the severe lack of Content but I couldnt really find much to put on the OP other than the video and description.

Oh yeah, this game is incredibly fun, it's got planes and boats and tanks, as well as plenty of infantry options.
Still one of the worst disappointments in video gaming history for me.

I love soldner, had so much fun with it
Around 80% of my experience in this game has been either dicking around in the Donald duck car annoying tanks or confusing the hell out of people using a jetpack circling them for no reason. :v:
We really need to get the server back up.

From a gameplay standpoint, it is god-awful easy to win if you don't dick around, most of the guns pack a punch and snipers are pretty dominant if you are on foot, so you never, ever, be on foot.

When I get the free time i'll just open up the server list and check, but I doubt it, I believe they were talking about the server having to go down towards the end of the last thread.

Is it just me or was the Campaign removed? When I checked there wasnt a thing for missions :(
I could probably set up a server but it wouldn't be 24/7 so the games would probably have to be scheduled.
Dear god this brings back memories. That one map were the red (?) base was in the mountains and the blue one at it's bottom across some plains. Infiltrating bases was fucking awesome.
Memories of flying a cessna over a race that involved tons of cars cars, losing control of it and accidentally crashing and taking several of the contestants out. :v:
I remember nuclear warfare one the FP server when everyone in the server got those nuclear missile launcher trucks.
Best game ever, I used to paly this back in the day, and when BC2 came around I just laughed my ass off.
