Hell, almost all the holiday stuff was free around the time of the holiday. IIRC EVERY DLC has been free at one point or another in some way.
Eternia Shards DLC has never been free.

To get the best end game items you are forced buy DLC's or play with other people who have them, but you'll mostly end up kicked. Completing the game is getting those items IMO.
It's fun up to that point, if you have some friends to play with. Needs a better end game scaling difficulty. The jump from insane to nightmare is intense

For now Nightmare mode is in testing and it's sort of an open beta for anyone who buys Eternia Shards, but after the 4th one is released they're taking it to everyone and in Nightmare you can get the top item tiers which right now is Supreme, was Transcendent before.
Sorry for the massive bump, but considering that this game already has a thread no need to make a new one. I bought this game (For PC, had it on PS3 since it came out) during the midweek madness. It works great and all, but when I download maps from the SW, I boot up the game and it tells me the maps are downloading, but as soon as it hits 100%, The game crashes with no error report and steam goes unresponsive and I have to close it. Anyone got a fix for this error?

This game is violently addictive. Anyone perhaps want to party up with me? I just finished the main game on Normal, probably going to go back through and do it on Hard and Insane. Steam profile is under avatar, etc.
I got VAC Banned from this game for using a mod with custom weapons in it on the "Open" server type that allows modding... What a shame, it was fun playing over 20 hours with my three friends.
Got the game just now, it's fun. I've played quite a bit before. Everyone online seems like idiots, putting auras behind my shields and whatnot, but I don't really have a choice since I have nobody else to play with D:
Hell yeah, someone should play, I'm level 59 and quickly working my way up there.
What's the secret and best way to solo level? I usually switch to Adept, make towers that are the main blocks and switch to my other class to level, but it seems slow and even the 4th or 5th campaign level feel impossible.

I think I'm going to make a Squire/Countess and level it up and use its towers.
You need multiple level 70s

I've found the Countess towers to dominate much more than the Adept towers, they're tanky and they seem to kill well, not to mention Countess DPS is ridiculous. I'm going to hit 30 then use it to level my other characters up.

Some people argue with the apprentice/adept stuff costing less DU, thus causing their turrets to be placed more easily but imo that's bullshit.
