[B]What is Blockade Runner?[/B] Inspired by Infiniminer and Minecraft’s voxel engine, Blockade Runner is the beginning of a Multi and Singleplayer First Person Adventure Space Sim that will feature fully destructible, operational, crewable 'living' starships in a massive and procedurally generated galaxy. [B] Is Blockade Runner free?[/B] The lite version is free and will have most of the full version's features, but will remain about 4-6 weeks behind the latest version of the game. [B]When is Blockade Runner expected to be finished?[/B] The game's scope and vision is a task that will takes years to accomplish, with the first Release to be finished by next year. [B][I][U]The game is being released in yearly parts and you have to pay for each of them![/U][/I][/B] At the moment its a sandbox game and you just build and destroy ships. [B]WHAT IS BLOCKADE RUNNER R1?[/B] Blockade Runner Release 1 is a year-long development project currently in development, followed by subsequent releases every year to bolster the game's features, capabilities and performance. Our focus with the first half of Release 1 will be the starships, the initial game engine, and the beginnings of the first person adventure mode. I'm absolutely all for indie developers coming out with creative projects like this, but there's just no way I'm going to pay for it until it's proven itself. Look at Ace of Spades, that game is great but I would never have paid for it, cause for all I knew it could have been shit.

What's the point of paying for an incomplete product that doesn't even have the guarantee of becoming a finished product? With something like Minecraft, we're guaranteed a final product because of the fact that not only are they an established company, they have a full entourage of staff working (relatively) full-time to finish it.

Rather ridiculous payment scheme. Would have probably bought it if it was priced normally.

Awesome, but at this stage way too risky to pay for a yearly build. Maybe once the game is finished I'll pay for it, but there is no way I'll ever buy it more than once.

How about just pay 1x when there is a fully stable build with all promised features on it? Instead of paying for a game that is not even stable/done yet Do it like Zombrew, everytime you release a new feature/part of the game is done. Then everyone, paid/free can play it until a certain point Besides, i have seen better made mods/indie games like this that where better then this + free

This could not been done without all the interest and subscribers.

Looks far too basic for me to buy. There needs to be stuff like shielding, life support systems, interesting projectile trajectory and bunch more neat features to make up for the fact you're just shooting blocks all the time.

I think i accidentally just bought it for a dollar.
