The "We Want More Freeman" Project - Games

It's my first, "major" project, so let me get on some details on what it's about. [B][I][U]The "We Want More Freeman" Project[/U][/I][/B] [B][U]What is it about?[/U][/B] -I'm going around the internet, all sorts of websites to get a large list of names who want some more information on Episode 3. -I'm trying to form a website with a large image i'll make in photoshop with as many people as I can on it. Hopefully, we can get lots of players names. [B][U]How can I help?[/U][/B] -Ask friends if they want their name in the list, or if you know they are hardcore Half Life fan, feel free to tell me their name and I will add them to a list I have already made in notepad. -Also, if you want, you can create a quote for Valve to read. It has to be a good quote and make sense. For example, a bad quote would be: [I]"We love you, and we want more ep3!"[/I] A good quote would probably be something like: [I]"Valve, we have played and enjoyed the Half Life franchise, but we want something new."[/I] -Also, if you have a server, feel free to advertise this project. We could use as many names as possible. [B][U]Donations[/U][/B] -I'm still not sure whether to do this or not, but if you want, I could start a PayPal or something for donations. -If we DO do donations, ALL THE MONEY WILL GO TO VALVE. -If you don't like the idea of giving the money to Valve, feel free to reccomend something else to use the money for. ----------------------------------------------------- Thats basically it. A large website with names of every person who wants some (new) information on Half Life. This is the only site I will put this up on, but I will put it up on more once I get some idea's from you guys. Just a few question I want to ask before continuing this project, in which I want you guys to answer: Q: Should I continue with this project? Q: Is there anything you want me to change about it? Q: Do you want me to start a group on steam for this project? Q: Do you think people will donate, if I impliment it? Q: How many people do you think will want to put their names up? You know the [URL="http://filesmelt.com/downloader/HonorBadge.png"]badge[/URL] thing I made for the Freeman Greatest Hero contest? Well I need a large template, kind of like the Team Fortress 2 Page's, but much larger. It has to be for photoshop, and I think I know someone where I can get one from. So you're basically using an e-petition in an attempt to bully valve to release information? Good luck with that, aint going to happen. I doubt they've even started development to be honest, who knows v:v:v

Two years later "Valve, this looks NOTHING like the early preview we forced you to release, FUCKERS"

Is it just me that gets the impression that they're going to surprise us with the release date, e.g. on the Steam News it be announced that it's available in a week's time? I can't think of any other reason for the complete lack of communication regarding the progress they're making.

Drop the whole donation thing. You don't need it, and Valve doesn't need it either.

It is not likely that it is so but I would love Valve so much if they did it, or, in response to this petition, releases a demo with checkers everywhere and glitches to hell and banner that is just like "Now give us time ffs".

Honestly, after L4D2 and finishing TF2 Updates, I can see Portal 2 released as it won't need that much of work as Ep3. But I hope I'll be wrong and Valve'll surprise me.
