Hi there guys, me and another 14 people are working on a remake of Half-Life: Blue shift. The project started in january 2009 and it's progressing very well at this stage. This is Guard Duty. Put your feet in the shoes of Barney Calhoun, a security guard at the Black Mesa Research Facility who has no idea that the next few hours are going to change his life forever. Here you can see a list of TOP PRIORITY positions. 1) PROGRAMMER Experienced programmer is needed. Are you experienced in C/C++? Apply NOW! - You have to be experienced coder. - You have to know how to work with Source engine - Ability to code NPCs, weapons and new gameplay features is required! 2) MODEL ANIMATOR We are looking for animator, who can animate our weapons, characters and prop models. If you are interested, you have to be: - Be skilled with animation programs (XSI and familiar). - Be able to rig and animate models (props,weapons and characters). - Knowledge of compiling the models for use in Source engine is considered as a big plus. 3) TEXTURE ARTIST Our team is in need of several texture artists, who can create enviromental and/or model skins. We are looking for someone who: - is dedicated to his/her work and can deliver textures at our request - is skilled in photoshop - know how to work with Source engine and is able to compile the textures for in-game use - is experienced with normal, specular, detail, self-shadowed bump maps and familiar NOTE: If you are applying as model skinned, you have to know how to unwrap models!!
