What attributes should I be specializing in?

EDIT: I'm a level 85 Hunter, and was looking to see what advice I could find gear wise, with future dungeon/raiding in mind. I've looked around, and I've gathered some knowledge.

From what I've gathered, +Hit Rating seems to be essential until you hit the cap (If anyone happens to know what the cap is, I would appreciate it). Then after then is where it gets hazy. So far this is what I'm looking at.

Hit Rating
Agility
Critical strike
Mastery
Haste

I've got dual talents, one specced BM, the other MM.

Well Harrison, Agi > all for Hunters I'm pretty sure.

But Hit/Expertise are more important if you're not capped.

Expertise isn't needed for hunters.
You should get to the hit cap, and try to get as much agility as possible.

I'm not sure if haste increases the focus regeneration, but if so I'd imagine haste being a good stat.

then just stack agility, get 0% miss chance against bosses and yeah?

Hit till capped> agi > Haste>Crit>Mastery

Yeah, I've only seen Surv hunters myself, just wanted to give him the information for what specs he has, so he can atleast make an informed choice

SV & BM: hit (until capped) > agi > crit > haste > mastery
MM: hit (until capped) > agi > crit > mastery > haste

If it has expertise on it, it's not your gear. Use reforging to tweak hit cap as close to 6% (heroics) or 8% (raids) as possible.

Mend pet doesn't scale with any attributes.

dont care about attribute caps untill you have 85, because the cap will rise everything you level up anyway.

if ur SV, u shud go Agi > Haste > Crit > Mastery (imo)

you always wanna get hit capped by reforging your secondary stats and with the hit enchants if you really need it. never gem for it

Correction, BM is best for leveling, and Marks is best for PvP
