• Help! I keep getting an error when installing GTA SA!

Alright, I've been googling around for like ever and I haven't really found anything useful to help me out with this issue... A while ago I tried installing GTA SA (Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas) on my PC. A bit through the install it gave me an error, so I said "fuck it" and didn't bother to try again. So today I decided to try again, and this time when I opened it it said "Play GTA SA" instead of "Install"... Of course, hitting "Play" didn't work. So, I tried uninstalling it, and it gave me this error: _______________________________________________________________ >SetupDLL\SetupDLL.cpp (469) PAPP: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas PVENDOR: Rockstar Games PGUID:E0303B6A-C675-4102-95DA-C013625BFA99 $10.50.0.125 @Windows XP Service Pack 2 (2600) IE 7.0.6000.16640 ________________________________________________________________ So, I hit ok and then it gave me this message: _______________________________________________________________ InstallShield Wizard Setup has experienced an error. Please do the following: -Close and running programs -Empty your temporary folder -Check your internet connection [Internet-based setups] Then try to run setup again. Error Code: -5001 _______________________________________________________________ Aight, so I googled a bit and a page told me to explore the cd and double click "setup.exe". Well, this worked and the setup started, but less than halfway through the setup it gave me this error: So, I tried hitting "Retry" and then this popped up: Well, after looking back at the first window that popped up, I decided that the best thing to do was to try and delete "SPC_GA" and then hit "Retry". So, I did that and then this popped up: I've tried using CCleaner to clean my registry, but that didn't work. Then I tried using RegCleaner to just remove everything related to Rockstar Games on my computer, but RegCleaner keeps crashing on me whenever I try to remove something using it! Please, help me out! Cheers, Jocken
CRC errors usually mean a problem with your CD (scratched or something like that). I used to get this, if you're lucky, you can just ignore it and play the game normally.
Catastrophic Failure. Call Rockstar.
