Long ago, there was a peaceful kingdom known as Dotnia, which was protected by six orbs, which in turn were safeguarded by six sages. A dark, evil king known as Onyx captured the sages and orbs and plunged the kingdom into fear. One day a hero rose up and saved the kingdom, sealing the dark king away in a dark orb and the kingdom was peaceful again at last. It also became extremely prosperous, as many people flocked to tour Dotnia and marvel at the story of the Hero that defeated the Dark King Onyx.

As the years pass, tourism in Dotnia dwindled because people were losing as much interest in the hero's story as the Kingdom's dull 2D landscape. So one day the king announced that Dotnia would move forward into the wonderous glory of 3D! Go figure, that a new evil would arise to try and muck things up for Dotnia. Time for a new hero!

Features Include:
-Over 20 hours of game play for the non-completionist.
-Retro gaming awesomeness
-Choose from default characters or create your own character from the ground up (In before walking dicks)
-Upgradable swords. Alter characteristics and make them as big as trains
-Three minigames: Blockout, Dash Circuit, Block Defense
-Various games modes. New game +, Spelunker Mode (Character has only one health point) and FROM Mode (baddies are more deadly and plentiful).
-Pretty much everything the classic Legend of Zelda had, including sword beams at full health.

So says wikipedia, hunh? I just went by what GI wrote. The official website claims that From Software is the developer as well. Maybe some info was left out during american publication or wikipedia is wrong. In the end, I really don't care who made it.

Love they style of this. The depth of field, crispness of the models and lack of frames in animation make it look like real life stop motion.

Can't wait for this to come out, been looking at it for a while now in awe.

Well I don't know what to believe, so to be on the safe side I got rid of that cheap grab for publicity.

Anyway, for those of you that plan to create your own characters, what do you plan on crafting? I added a video to the OP that gives a glimpse of the character creator. Since I've been obsessed with Stalker recently, I'll probably go for an exoskeleton or bloodsucker.
