Hitman: Codename 47 Startup Problem

Hello, i bought the hitman collection today but i found a problem on the start up of hitman: codename 47 game. Everytime i start it up i get this error:
Unable to find a suitable display for true colour. Try running it in 16-bit colour.

When i try that it says, Unable to find a suitable display for true colour. Try running it in 32-bit colour.

So then i changed a few settings and i can get it to run but in a really rubbish res, and not in fullscreen. It's in a stupid windowed mode. Anyone know any fixes for this, thanks.

What's your operating system?

If vista, run it in Compatibility mode. (its not a bad read, sometimes it might help)
