THIS ISNT FARCRY 2
Ok
well i just installed my copy (5 disks O_O) of Far Cry
So well, as usual i go to campaign, new game, then i load it up.
well... after that it starts the game and my hud shows up, but everything is surrounded by water
Specs:
Geforce 9100
AMD Phenom X4 64 bit
Windows vista HP
6 GB Ram
2 GB Video Card Ram
...
Any other specs can be asked for
Btw, when i played this it OWNED

With this attitude, you won't get any far. Anyway. Try installing the latest drivers for your GPU.

What are you installing from, burned CD's?
it was the retail farcry 1 version.
apparently there was DVD and CD versions
which when i had bought it i only had a CD drive and a Screwed up DVD drive :P
You need to patch your game, OP. I had the same problem (woo, 5-disk retail brothaaaas)
ok :) i will have to reinstall first tho since its screwed from a idiot who told me to delete a file that lets the game BOOT :|

Only time i ever played it was with vista and it ran just fine.
