This is a thread about BAWWWing about how dissapointed I am with Diablo 3. [highlight]So if your offended by the fact that people might have different opinions than you, leave please.[/highlight]
Now like the majority of you, I was cumming my pants for Diablo III. I was so excited to go back and slay the deformed demonic denizens of our nightmares. That was...until I saw the monsters. Seriously Blizzard? How fucking hard is it to make new monsters? Or even better, keep the original monsters looks.
Here are some 'original' new monsters from Diablo 3. Starting with the Thousand Pounder, which sounds more like a burger from Outback Steakhouse, as a mini-boss of sorts. Do I even have to say what it looks like?

Then there is the 'Dark Demon' (props on creative names) which is summoned by the Dark Cultists, which is a skinnier, blue version of a certain hunter of fels.

And now for the grand finale of my bitching. The Skeleton King. The Black King himself. King Leoric. That guy scared the SHIT out of me when i was a kid. A 10 ft. tall skeleton who savored every drop of blood spilt by your character. Now, I love throwbacks, or bringing back old characters. This is not a throwback.

I couldn't find a good image of him from Diablo 1, so I used this instead. You can download a plugin that replaces Radament(Act II, first boss in the sewers) with The King.

This is a mockery of those dumb World of Warcraft raid bosses with names like Naysayer the Undenier or something. They couldn't even let him keep his fucking two handed sword, they had to turn it into an oversized egg beater.

Yeah it's not like they are a [highlight]big part of the game or something[/highlight] right? Infact why even have monsters? Just have the players hack at air, pretending it is their favorite Diablo 1 monster.

Uh I honestly didn't see enough content in OP to justify bawwwwing over Diablo III. Just didn't seem like good enough examples/reasons. A few ideas spill over from WoW and everyone starts freaking the fuck out.

Jesus christ it's my opinion. Diablo and world of warcraft are not supposed to be melded together. Diablo is brutal, dark, bloody and scary. Thats what made it different than all the other shit that came out. This is just ruining it
well to be honest it is blizzard, if they want to copy some of WoW arts them let them. It is their art style/monster style after all.

Diablo II wasn't very original in their monsters either. They would simply be the same monster over and over again with the same names.
Personally having seen gameplay footage see that all it really is, is Diablo II on new graphics.
